A lawsuit filed by a group of Arizona residents and non-profits challenging Senate Bill 1070 inched ahead Monday as U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton set deadlines for various motions and discovery related to plans by the plaintiffs to try to turn the case into a class- action lawsuit as well as an effort by the defense attorneys representing the state and counties to challenge some of the plaintiffs' legal standing.
